I am a social activist working for the deprived communities in deserted areas where people haven’t sourced to avail potable water.

We are trying to provide safe drinking water facilities, distribution to poverty, education, volunteer service & livelihood with the support of some respected individuals and charities.

You are requested for assistance for poor families as well.

The project will target the Tharparkar Desert, which is a big area located in Sindh state, with a huge population of Achro Thar approx. 65000
33000 people have their CNIC.
13000 Families living in the Achro Thar area of Taluka Khipro
Achro Thar in Taluka Khipro consists of four Union Councils

  1. Uc Kamil Hingoro
  2. Uc Bilawal Hingorjo
  3. Uc Banko Chaniho.
  4. Uc Ranak Daher
There is only one professional doctor and just two primary schools for about 145 villages comprising nearly 500 people each in Achro Thar.
Anxiously anticipating a little rain to come their way after a gap of nearly three years, residents of the “white desert”, which has remained untouched by any form of basic infrastructural development, have with great reluctance begun to contemplate the possibility of leaving their native land. Perhaps they too like Tharparkar would have to be hit by a calamity first to get their share of attention from the authorities.
The desert covers almost 70 percent area of the Sanghar district and acts as a natural border with India’s Rajasthan.
The only modes of transport on the dunes are camels and jeeps which leave the desert for Khipro town every morning. The jeeps aren’t of much use for emergencies. It takes at least a couple of hours for the four-wheeler to traverse the uneven sand and reach the nearest village. To boot, the fare of Rs8, 000 is too much to bear for the residents.
Only one mobile network provides telephone coverage and that too if you stand at a height.
“When a woman is about to give birth in Achro Thar, the family prepares for two occasions simultaneously, “the birth of a child and the death of the mother”.

Assessment of need: Tharparker people are suffering to get their basic needs of water, They depend on hand pumps to get their demand but these hand pumps don’t cover their consumption due to the high population in the area.

Help us to provide safe clean water to poor communities in rural areas of Sindh in Pakistan where safe clean water is not easily accessible.

Providing water to drink is the best form of charity and is a means of forgiveness of sins. Whoever seeks forgiveness shall give others water to drink.

Ibn-e-Abbas was asked, “What form of charity is best?”

He said, ” Giving water to drink.”

Water Relief is striving to provide safe clean drinking water to poor and needy communities in some of the most undeveloped areas of Pakistan

We are building water tube wells with depths of 50 -70m that have a lifespan of over 5 years in the water-deficient areas in Pakistan

These Tube Wells provide a source of fresh clean safe water to families who otherwise have to travel long distances to gather unsafe water for household usage.

Access to safe water is a basic human right and we are working hard to ensure that greater water equality is achieved across the world.

Your donations will save lives and regenerate whole communities for generations to come ensuring that no individual has to go without safe water to drink and for everyday essential needs such as washing, cooking, and looking after livestock.

Please give generously to help provide families with this basic life essential.
